Biography

Dong Ziying, Rizhao People's Hospital, Department of Aesthetic Surgery, Chief Physician, PhD.

He specializes in double eyelid surgery, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, liposuction, minimally invasive radical surgery for axillary osmidrosis, gynecologic plastic surgery, breast augmentation, breast reduction, correction of inverted nipples, andrological plastic surgery, comprehensive scar treatment, and botulinum toxin injection therapy.

He studied at Taishan Medical College, Qingdao University Medical College, and Qingdao University Medical Department, obtaining his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, respectively. From April to July 2007, he received advanced training in medical aesthetics at Good Morning Hospital in South Korea. He is a master's supervisor at Jining Medical University and an aesthetic medicine attending physician. He serves as Director of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Rizhao People's Hospital, Discipline Leader of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Rizhao People's Hospital, and Founder of the Department of Aesthetic Surgery at Rizhao People's Hospital. In 2007, he founded the Department of Aesthetic Surgery at Rizhao People's Hospital.

As principal investigator, he undertook the Shandong Provincial Medical and Health Science and Technology Development Program project titled "Application of Fixation of the Orbital Septum, Orbicularis Oculi Muscle, and Pretarsal Fascia in Double Eyelid Surgery and Upper Eyelid Laxity Correction." In February 2016, he published the paper "Clinical Effect of Modified Double Eyelid Surgery" in the Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology. In June 2017, he published the paper "Application of Fixation of the Orbicularis Oculi Muscle Above the Incision Margin, Orbital Septum, and Pretarsal Fascia in Upper Eyelid Laxity Correction" in the Chinese Journal of Aesthetic Medicine. He received one second prize and one third prize of the Rizhao Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award.
He serves as a Council Member of the Aesthetic Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Branch of the China Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Medicine, a Member of the Medical Aesthetics and Aesthetic Surgery Branch of the Shandong Medical Association, a Member of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Branch of the Shandong Medical Association, a Member of the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons Branch of the Shandong Medical Doctor Association, a Member of the Burn Physicians Branch of the Shandong Medical Doctor Association, and Vice Chairman of the Medical Aesthetics Professional Committee of the Shandong Pain Medicine Association.
